Ya, a lot going on, I've made a bit of a checklist to try to clarify things:

- Return Permission form for Attack Game (Oct. 29)

- Pay for Attack game on SchoolCash by Friday

- Pay for Tree Top Treking on School Cash ASAP (Grade 8 Oct 8 - Grade 7 Oct. 9)

- Sign Tree Top Treking Waiver

- Re-sign Tree Top Treking Waiver if it was accidentally signed for the parent and not the studeny

- Bring a note to go out for lunch (optional)

- Return Permission form for French Concert (Oct. 17)

- Return Grade 8 Transition Day Form (Nov. 3 and Nov 10)

We also worked on this question at the back of your book, try to solve: 

Jessica and Callista go the local burger joint. They both want to buy the meal deal. Jessica has 3/4 of the money needed to buy the meal deal and Callista has half of the money needed to buy the meal deal. If the meal deal was $3 cheaper, then together they would have exactly enough money to buy two of the meal deals. What is the original price of the meal deal?

We talked about descriptive writing. We read some examples of good descriptive writing, specifically to do with food. We made a list of some adjective that can describe food. If you were away today, consider doing this: Write the following words on paper. Under each word, write three or four adjectives good descriptive adjectives that could be used when writing about food.
